What Our Audience Says

"Great performance!"

-Nuyorican Cafe, NYC.

"The Show was sensuous, sexy, radical, delicious, elegant. There was sweetness and wisdom!"

-Jacqueline

"You created a wonderful atmosphere at NEYT; good show I loved the mix of poetry and music. Way Cool!"

-Stephen Stearns, Director of New England Youth Theatre

The piece PALESTINE moved me to tears. My heart, sometimes split in two, experienced each half dancing together and becoming one. That unity, the differences and the ultimate unity the song brought, creates an image for a peace that is transformative. I pray that this image in music and words will help hearts to realize the beauty of this kind of unity....it could heal so much.".

-Rupa Cousins Dancer- Healer

"It is rare to find an ensemble where many artistic levels of expression are touched, and with such intelligence. Just an evening of breezy jazz and ethnic rhythms would have been cool enough, but then there was the unexpected word art - it was a night of thoughtful cabaret - Bill Shontz on clarinet, Stephan Brandstatter on drums and voice, George Adair on bass and guest artist LuAnn Hightower on percussion and voice created exceptionally cohesive and unrestrained music - the poet T. Namaya weaves his spoken voice and word art throughout the evening for a sublimely refined (and sometimes not-so-refined) description of everyday happenings that often can touch on world events. Our college will have this group back again. " -School for International Training
